Way off the main drag. Driveway into the place is well paved, but steep as the dickens. This is a weekend retreat. Many of the sites are permanent campers with lots of added on decks, porches etc. Bathrooms were plywood, no paint, clean if you don't count spiders, spiderwebs, concrete floors etc. Showers were about the same. Sewer hookups are just PVC pipes running along the ground with multiple tees and joints too numerous to count. Nice lake. Beautiful sunsets.

Some shaded sites. All sites are really close together. Few restrooms, and then porta potties. Restrooms have concrete floors, plywood stalls and were dirty and smelly. Showers are private, but have no ceiling so you look up into the eaves of the building to all the bugs, spider webs etc... Trash containers were overflowing. Sewage odor was noticeable throughout the park. We stayed one night and left, without a refund.

Beautiful area. Sites are well divided and somewhat secluded. Rest rooms were clean and well maintained. Showers were nice once I figured out how to work them. No choice in the temperature, just on or off. The trails and overlooks in the park are incredible. absolutely breathtaking. We wished we had more then two days to hike and tour the park and the area. GREAT bakery in Alma. Park personnel were really friendly. Great place to visit.

The directions to the park take you down some really narrow, really bumpy, country roads which are tough for any size class A to negotiate. There is another way in which is better for RV's. The park is more of a weekend destination for locals as there are more seasonal rentals than campers stopping by. The bathrooms were clean, but in need of updating. Showers are pay. The "lake" is a pond and definitely not something you would want to be camped near during the summer.

Really nice family campground with great gameroom, nice lodge, pond for swimming, hiking, boating and super clean bathrooms and showers. Really quiet. Impeccably clean and well maintained. Really nice place. Wish we could have spent more time there.
